Red Wing, MN – April 12, 2004 – Today Red Wing Software, Inc., a leading agricultural software developer, announced their pledge as a Visionary Sponsor in the Benefactor Program of the Farm Financial Standards Council, a not-for-profit organization with interest in developing sound financial reporting and analytic techniques for agricultural producers.

Red Wing Software pledged a multi-year commitment and $7,500 to support the work of the Council, including involvement with the Summer Symposium and Annual Meetings.

Hilton now represents the software developers' perspective on the all-volunteer Board of Directors. Red Wing Software participated in the Council's managerial accounting initiative including gaining NPPC (National Pork Producer's Council) certification for Perception Accounting, one of Red Wing's premier agriculture accounting packages.
