Red Wing Software Announces CenterPoint® Version 20

We're excited to announce the release of CenterPoint version 20—a powerful update designed to enhance your experience and streamline your workflow. This release includes several improvements inspired by your feedback, making day-to-day tasks simpler and more efficient. CenterPoint Accounting:

• Bank Transaction Import - Easily import transactions directly from your bank using the new Bank Transaction Import. This streamlined process uses the power of Plaid to seamlessly integrate with most financial institutions, eliminating a manual export/import process.
• Balance Sheet - Side-by-side Balance Sheet reporting for multiple companies allows you to compare company financial information at a glance, just like the Income Statement.
• Preferences - Quickly locate preference settings with a new Search box.
• Custom Aging Periods - Easily define custom aging periods for billing statements and aging reports other than the standard 1-30, 31-60, and 61-90.
• Vendor Transaction Sequences - Transaction number sequences can now be uniquely assigned to each vendor, reducing errors and ensuring the correct transaction numbers are used in Accounts Payable payments.
• Available Notes - Access notes from any tab within Names, Vendors, Customers, or Employees using the new Notes button. This enhancement simplifies your workflow and makes it easier to view or add notes without switching screens.
• Edit Paid Invoices - Quickly find payments applied to a paid invoice using the new Review Payments/Receipts button, so you can make the changes you need faster.

CenterPoint Payroll:

• Liability Due Dates - Payroll Liability payments are more flexible than ever with the addition of two new payroll liability due date features. Due dates can now be edited for unpaid payroll liabilities after a pay run is posted, simplifying the payroll process. Easily identify which invoices get paid quarterly, annually, or at other set times, with new month selections for payment terms.
• Earning Schedules - Easily control when an earning is included in a pay run based on a frequency (schedule). This expands the existing frequencies for deductions/benefits to also include earnings, making paying employees at set intervals more flexible.
• Employer Earnings, Deductions, & Taxes - When you change a rate or account on an earning, deduction, or tax, you will now have the option to update the employer settings automatically, streamlining the setup process, reducing errors, and saving time.
• Federal Tax Forms - Create a favorites list of your commonly used Federal tax forms, simplifying your monthly, quarterly, and year‑end reporting processes.

Payroll Web Services:

• Consolidated Employee Portal - The new consolidated Employee Portal menu allows you easy single-point access to all your payroll web services settings (CenterPoint Time Clock, Publish Pay Advices, and Employee Portal). In addition, a reorganized Portal tab in employee setup simplifies adding employees.

New live Single Subject Training sessions are now being offered. These sessions are designed to provide detailed information about a specific subject. Live sessions last 1-3 hours and are presented by an experienced Red Wing Software instructor. Participants join a scheduled session with other Red Wing Software users. If you attend a live Single Subject Training session, you receive 30-day access to a session recording.
