Our Red Wing Software team is hard-working, but we have fun too. Barbecues, golf outings, holiday parties and a whole new twist on celebrating employees' anniversaries and birthdays are some of the festivities. The office environment is casual and it's not unusual to see team members wearing jeans on any given day.
We are involved in our communities. Employees volunteer at the local elementary school. We participate in the Red Wing YMCA Challenge Games every May and in 2007 we brought home the 1st place trophy for our division.
Employees can contribute to United Way close to their homes or work location through payroll deduction. Employees contributed money to hurricane victims through The American Red Cross. Contributions were matched dollar-for-dollar by the company and Red Wing Software's landlord - Double Eagle Properties.
Other fundraisers include the VASA Christmas gift campaign, blood drives, The American Cancer Society and those raising money for schools, scouts and athletics.
We offer a health plan with two choices - either a traditional PPO option or a high-deductible health plan with a health savings account option. Other benefit plans include dental, life insurance and flexible spending accounts. New employees can begin participating in the health and welfare plans the first day of the month following 30 days of employment; not after 3 or 6 months like other companies.
We also offer a 401(k) plan where employees can contribute up to the maximum allowed by the IRS. Eligibility occurs the first day of employment. Participation may begin the quarter following employment. An incredible savings and tax advantage over the “one year of employment” eligibilty requirement of many other companies.
Red Wing Software typically celebrates 8-1/2 holidays annually and offers a generous time-off package including vacation and personal time off. New employees can begin using PTO after three months and paid vacation after six months of employment.
Compensation for all positions at Red Wing Software depends upon experience, skill sets, and education.
