Julie Strain, Sales Engineer at Red Wing Software, has been elected president-elect of the American Society of Agricultural Consultants (ASAC). The election took place at the November 2015 meeting, and her role as president-elect began at that meeting
The ASAC is a non-profit organization focused on raising the standards and image of professional agricultural consultants. It is the only association representing the full range of agricultural consultants. ASAC members uphold rigid standards involving training, experience, knowledge, performance, and the ability to provide independent and objective consulting services.
“One of Julie’s responsibilities for ASAC is to chair the Annual Meeting Committee,” said Ken Hilton, President of Red Wing Software and Past-President of ASAC. “As is always the case with Julie, she hit the ground running in her new position with ASAC, and the annual meeting agenda is already finalized. The meeting is open to all agricultural consultants and is scheduled to start November 13, 2016 in Fort Worth, TX.”
Julie Strain has worked at Red Wing Software for over 20 years, most of those in her current consulting role. She holds a degree in computational math. Julie consults with agricultural, as well as other customers of Red Wing Software, helping them implement and run CenterPoint Accounting for Agriculture for their operation.
