CenterPoint Payroll - Print or Reprint Checks, Invoices, or Receipts

Checks, invoices and deposit slips can easily be reprinted in CenterPoint using one of the processes below. During the reprint process, you can choose to keep the original check number or assign a new check number.

Option A: Reprint Transactions from the Processes Menu

Option A: Reprint Transactions from the Processes Menu

Option 1: Reprint Checks

  1. Select Processes > > Print/Email Checks/Invoices or Processes > > Print/Email Checks/Invoices.
  2. Enter the selection criteria for the transactions to be reprinted:
  • In the Transaction Type box, select to reprint Checks..
  • Select the used in the transactions you wish to reprint.
  • Select the Bank Account used in the transactions you wish to reprint.
  • Select a period from the drop down or enter a specific date range in the Date Selection field.
  • If you know the specific check/advice numbers you want to reprint, in the Number From/To boxes, enter the check/advice number range you want to reprint. This field is optional.
  • Select the Name used in the transactions you wish to reprint. This is an optional step.
  • If you only want to reprint transactions entered by a single user, select that user in the Entered By box.
  • If the transactions were originally printed, then select the Include Printed Transactions box.
  • If you need to change the check numbers on the reprinted checks, check the Change Transaction Numbers box. You will be prompted to enter the new first check number before the checks print.
  1. Click Select. The transactions that meet the selection criteria specified in step 2 will display.
  2. All transactions will be selected to reprint by default. If you want to reprint only a few of the selected items, click on the Unselect All button and then select the Print check box for only those items you want to reprint.
  3. Click Print. If you selected the Change Transaction Numbers box in your selection criteria, you will be prompted for the first transaction number. Enter the number and click Print. The new transaction number will be reassigned to the transaction as it prints.

Option 2: Reprint Invoices

  1. Select Processes > > Print/Email Checks/Invoices or Processes > > Print/Email Checks/Invoices.
  2. Enter the selection criteria for the transactions to be reprinted:
  • In the Transaction Type box, select to reprint ,.
  • Select the used in the transactions you wish to reprint.
  • Select a period from the drop down or enter a specific date range in the Date Selection field.
  • If you know the specific invoice numbers you want to reprint, in the Number From/To boxes, enter the invoice number range you want to reprint. This field is optional.
  • Select the Name used in the transactions you wish to reprint. This is an optional step.
  • If you only want to reprint transactions entered by a single user, select that user in the Entered By box.
  • If the transactions were originally printed, then select the Include Printed Transactions box.
  • If you need to change the invoice numbers on the reprinted invoices, check the Change Transaction Numbers box. You will be prompted to enter the new first invoice number before the invoices print.
  1. Click Select. The transactions that meet the selection criteria specified in step 2 will display.
  2. All transactions will be selected to reprint by default. If you want to reprint only a few of the selected items, click on the Unselect All button and then select the Print check box for only those items you want to reprint.
  3. Click Print. At the About to begin printing checks, click OK to continue? message, click OK.
  4. If you selected the Change Transaction Numbers box in your selection criteria, you will be prompted for the first transaction number. Enter the number and click Print. The new transaction number will be reassigned to the transaction as it prints.

Option 3: Resend E-mailed Invoices

  1. Select Processes > > Print/Email Checks/Invoices or Processes > > Print/Email Checks/Invoices.
  2. Enter the selection criteria for the transactions to be reprinted:
  • In the Transaction Type box, select to reprint ,.
  • Select the used in the transactions you wish to re-email.
  • Select a period from the drop down or enter a specific date range in the Date Selection field.
  • If you know the specific invoice numbers you want to re-email, in the Number From/To boxes, enter the invoice number range you want to re-email. This field is optional.
  • Select the Name used in the transactions you wish to re-email This is an optional step.
  • If you only want to re-email transactions entered by a single user, select that user in the Entered By box.
  1. Click Select. The transactions that meet the selection criteria specified in step 2 will display.
  2. All transactions will be selected to re-email by default. If you want to re-email only a few of the selected items, click on the Unselect All button and then select the Print check box for only those items you want to re-email.
  3. Click Email/Print.
  4. Verify or change your Email Settings.
  5. Click OK.
  6. You will receive a Process Completed Successfully message when the invoice is re-emailed.

Option 4: Reprint Receipts

  1. Select Processes > > Print/Email Checks/Invoices or Processes > > Print/Email Checks/Invoices.
  2. Enter the selection criteria for the transactions to be reprinted:
  • In the Transaction Type box, select to reprint Receipts.
  • Select the used in the transactions you wish to reprint.
  • Select the Bank Account used in the transactions you wish to reprint.
  • Select a period from the drop down or enter a specific date range in the Date Selection field.
  • If you know the specific receipt numbers you want to reprint, in the Number From/To boxes, enter the receipt number range you want to reprint. This field is optional.
  • Select the Name used in the transactions you wish to reprint. This is an optional step.
  • If you only want to reprint transactions entered by a single user, select that user in the Entered By box.
  • If the transactions were originally printed, then select the Include Printed Transactions box.
  • If you need to change the receipt numbers on the reprinted receipts, check the Change Transaction Numbers box. You will be prompted to enter the new first receipt number before the receipts print.
  1. Click Select. The transactions that meet the selection criteria specified in step 2 will display.
  2. All transactions will be selected to reprint by default. If you want to reprint only a few of the selected items, click on the Unselect All button and then select the Print check box for only those items you want to reprint.
  3. Click Print.
  4. If you selected the Change Transaction Numbers box in your selection criteria, you will be prompted for the first transaction number. Enter the number and click Print. The new transaction number will be reassigned to the transaction as it prints.

Option B: Reprint Transactions from Search

  1. Select Reporting Tools > Transaction Search.
  2. Enter the selection criteria for the checks/advices to be reprinted:
  • Select a period from the drop down or enter a specific date range in the Date Selection field
  • Select Summary in the Format Definition field.
  1. Click Search. The transactions that meet the selection criteria specified in step 2 will display.
  2. Select the transactions you need to reprint. More than one transaction can be selected at a time by dragging your mouse down the rows or by holding down the Ctrl key on the keyboard while single clicking on individual transactions.
  3. Click on the Print drop down box. The appropriate options (Reprint Checks, Reprint Invoices or Reprint Deposits) will be available based on the transactions selected in step 4.
  4. If you need to change check numbers you will need to modify the transaction first and then reprint, or use Option A: Reprint Transactions from the Processes Menu, which allows you to change the check numbers during the reprint process.

Option C: Reprint from Report Drill Downs

  1. Select Reports > Reports.
  2. Preview any report that the transaction will be included. In this scenario we are using the Payments Journal. 
  1. Click on the appropriate transaction to display the transaction in it’s original format. Simply verify that the Print This Check? field is selected and click Save to reprint the check.
