Course Description
You will leave these classes with the knowledge, skills, and the confidence you need to improve productivity and accuracy in your accounting practices. You can choose to attend only one day, two days, or all three days.
- Payroll Setup
Morning - Learn how to maintain the setup of employers, employees, earnings, deduction and taxes. The class will examine the setup and use of vacation and sick leave. Discussion of everything you need to know to set up direct deposit.
- Payroll Processing, Reports and Taxes
Afternoon - We'll take you through the details of time-entry and payroll processing. We'll teach you how to use the option for an alternate language check stub. There will be a discussion of all the payroll reports available and how to take advantage of them. CenterPoint Payroll includes tax forms to allow printing and electronic submission of payroll tax forms including W-2's. You will learn how to process, review and edit these forms as well.
Note: For those of you who have not set up your company in CenterPoint prior to attending the class, we recommend that you view the Introduction to CenterPoint online training video, which includes information on starting a new database, as this will not be covered during the classroom training.
