Arendt’s Holstein Resort featured in Dairy Star magazine

Mindi Arendt, of Arendt’s Holstein Resort in Mazeppa, Minnesota, was featured in the May 26, 2018 issue of Dairy Star magazine. Mindi was interviewed for the “Women in Dairy” section where she discusses some of her experiences working in agriculture.

Maple Hill Creamery featured in Progressive Dairyman magazine.

Maple Hill Creamery, of Kinderhook New York, was featured in the May 25, 2018 issue of Progressive Dairyman magazine. In the story “From Foreclosure to 150 Herds: Grass-fed Yogurt Company Succeeds with Niche Mindset,” Joseph of Maple Hill Creamery details their journey to success with their organic, grass-fed yogurt company.

Katrina (Administrative Assistant) and hubby Josh said, “Cheers to 8 Years!”
Cori (QA Analyst) and Ryan (Graphic Designer) went on their annual family hiking trip on the North Shore. This time they visited Split Rock Lighthouse State Park in Two Harbors, MN.
Cori (QA Analyst) went with her son Liam’s preschool class on their year-end field trip. They took the Amtrak train from Red Wing to Winona and on the bus ride back they stopped at Lark Toys in Kellogg, MN, for ice cream.
We are happy to welcome Jamie Smith to our support staff. Many of you have talked with Jayme Poole. Having two employees with the same name in the same department should be fun.

Behind the Scenes - April 2018

  • Julie's (Sales Engineer) son, Joey, and niece, Carmen, became Godparents to Julie's great-nephew, Caleb.
  • Katrina (Administrative Assistant) and daughter, Kyla, made some time for tea on Katrina’s birthday.
  • Carole’s (Staff Accountant) daughter, Zoe, decided to accept the offer from the University of Wisconsin – Madison to attend their school in the Fall of 2018. She was accepted into the school of agricultural and life sciences and will be majoring in biochemistry with an emphasis on stem cell research. Zoe will be graduating from Red Wing High School in June with a 4.1 GPA and has already completed 60 college credits that will transfer to Madison.
  • Jada’s (Technical Support Specialist) daughter, Ava, (holding the flowers) had a lead role in “The Ever After - A Musical.”
