Course Description
Day 1 – Morning
Whether you are a brand new Red Wing customer or whether you are migrating from other Red Wing products, you will learn how to get started with CenterPoint. You will learn how to customize CenterPoint just for you through preferences and other customization features. Learn how to setup and maintain your company, accounts, names and other setup items. The morning will cover everything you need to get you ready to start with CenterPoint
Day 1 – Afternoon
The afternoon will cover all of the transaction entry option in CenterPoint. You will learn how to enter various cash transactions. This class will give you the tools you need to enter vendor and customer invoices, print customer invoices and statements and pay or receive these invoices. Enter journal entries with ease and learn how to take advantage of build in features such as accrued interest transactions, depreciation and simple payroll entries
Day 2 – Morning
This class will give you the confidence to edit, delete and void previously entered transactions. CenterPoint allows for flexible reporting. You will learn how to customize reports and save those options for re-use at another time. Produce a 1040 Schedule F that will maximize your time spent for tax preparation.
Day 2 - Afternoon
CenterPoint easily produces cash information for tax purposes. Learn how to take advantage of features in CenterPoint that allow for better management information without affecting the cash tax reporting information. Learn how to accrue inputs to your production, enter new production transactions and take advantage of the reporting that will give you better management information. Finally, we will learn how to enter budgets and produce actual to budget comparisons.
